Spring Coaching – Life Refresher

The change of seasons is a great time to take stock and have a “Spring Clean” of your life. One great way to do that is to ask yourself some powerful questions.
Did you know that making a list is a powerful journaling technique? Asking a question as a journaling prompt, and then making a list helps us connect with what matters most, find clarity, gain insight, find peace, new possibilities and so much more! List-making is a quick, fun and hugely helpful journaling technique. You don’t need any experience – anyone can do this.
The trick is not to OVER THINK the questions, just put pen to paper and write. Voila’! Then, once you think you’ve completed your list, try to add at least 2-3 more things. This last step is a great technique to draw out those hidden issues and secret goals that lead to some big “aha” moments!
Use These 9 Journaling Prompts to Spring Clean and Refresh Your Life:
1) R – RELATIONSHIP REVIEW: Who 1) drains you and 2) sparks you to be the best you?
2) E – ENERGY BOOSTERS: What boosts your energy and makes your heart sing?
3) F – FRESH ATTITUDE: Where do you need a fresh attitude towards yourself/life/others?
4) R – RELEASE & LET GO: What do you need to release and let go of?
5) E – ENERGY ZAPPERS: What are your energy drains?  (physical/emotional/mental)?
6) S – SWEEP AWAY THE COBWEBS: What do you need to sweep away to appreciate the beauty of your life?
7) H – HABIT REVIEW: What habits could you 1) Stop and 2) Start – to freshen up your life?
8) M – MAGIC: If you had a magic wand, what would be different in your life?
9) E – EXCITING: What would make your life more exciting?
Once you wrap up journaling, choose THREE ACTIONS you’ll take to begin to make some of the changes concrete and real. ACTIONABLE is KEY!
As an extra challenge you may try writing with your non-dominant hand to answer the questions (if you’re right-handed, use your left hand and vice versa). You can also set a time for each question (1-2 minutes) and write without stopping. If you get stuck and can’t think of anything to write, simply write down “I can’t think of anything to write” and just keep writing until the timer is done.
To wrap-up, when we ask a question, our brains can’t help but try to answer it—bringing issues and possibilities into awareness. I hope you enjoyed these fun and powerful coaching questions/journaling prompts and will use them yourself and share them with those you love.

Coaching you to THRIVE!!

Five years ago, I began having mild muscle weakness and was devastated to find out my neuro-immune disease, myasthenia gravis, was back out of remission. From past experience, I knew how awful the side effects of the medications were. As a nurse, I knew how dangerous some of them were too. As a wife and mom, I was DETERMINED not to let this disease slow me down from keeping up with my family, especially my 2 young and active boys. That’s where my journey of learning and  discovery began. I’m ecstatic  and proud to say I’ve put the myasthenia gravis back into remission, lost 30 pounds, and feel more energetic than ever.  Along the way I’ve read and learned new things  every single day. My new found knowledge led me to a passion for helping others turn their own health challenges around. I looked to the  top notch training from Wellcoaches and it helped give me a better set of tools to help my clients not only succeed, but THRIVE!!

If you are frustrated with health challenges that leave you feeling exhausted or at the end of your rope, I can help you learn what’s behind them. Most importantly, I’ll help you create a plan and an environment to ensure you’ll not only improve your health, but feel vibrant once again.
